Defensive Night Vision Readiness is a must course for any person who currently owns a set of night vision googles for personal home defensive, survival or hunting purposes.
Bushido Tactical teaches you the crucial facts about using night vision in a defensive low light / no light scenario, allowing students to work in and around structures / barricades. We will educate you on various techniques using night vision equipment in close quarter environments and inform students on when to use white light versus IR light.
Offered in a 2 Part course curriculum:
Part 1 – (Live Fire: Shooting fundamentals with NVD’s)
Course Outline:
Night Vision versions and familiarization
Weapon and head mounting systems
White light vs. IR light
Visible vs. IR lasers
Low light / No light night vision techniques
Depth perception
Working in close quarters with obstacles and equipment
Exterior and Interior movements
Live fire exercises
Equipment Required:
Primary weapon – Pistol, Carbine or both
Skull crusher or helmet for NVD
Hands free Night Vision Device
Spare batteries
IR laser or hand held flash light
Knee pads
500 rounds of rifle ammunition
150 rounds of pistol ammunition
Holster, sling and magazine pouches
Duration: 8 Hours (1/2 day and 1/2 night)

Part 2 – (Force on Force: Gun Fighting fundamentals with NVD’s)
Course Outline:
Night Vision versions and familiarization
Weapon and head mounting systems
White light vs. IR light

Working in close quarters with obstacles and equipment
Exterior and Interior movements
Realistic scenario based training – Force on Force
Equipment Required:
Primary weapon – Pistol, Carbine or both (It will be converted into a FX firearm for training)
Skull crusher or helmet for NVD
Hands free Night Vision Device
Spare batteries
IR flash light
Knee pads
Groin protective cup
Holster, sling and magazine pouches
Long sleeve shirt / jacket
Protective gloves
Duration: 8 Hours (1/2 day and 1/2 night)
